| 1. my parents have moved to malaysia
2. next month, darrell is going back to iraq for a year
3. i'm leaving the bay area and moving to arizona in december
change is good, but it's so painful. i'm most sad about d's unit leaving for iraq. when he's back, i'll be gone. when i'm gone, i don't know when i'll be back. i don't believe in the "better to have loved and lost" quote. it's bullshit.
